Why has Hottod’s brilliant analysis of this dud deal not received 100 thumbs up? Maybe it’s difficult to raise your thumb with your head stuck in the sand.
Bitter? You betcha. As Hottod demonstrates, this normally value-accretive ‘inflection point’ has cost shareholders dearly. Pick your own historic benchmark, but on a worst case scenario we have time-travelled back a decade. And looking forward, it will be a minimum two years until we regain lost ground. We might never.
Ten million and a promise? From a loss-making minnow? And our Board was shocked at the reaction? Seriously?
Please can we have no more crap here about this deal valuing NEU at six bucks. It values us at $1.50. And that’s the only value that counts.
I hold now only on the strength of orphan drug status and the hope that a second-rate US bio can find a way to market.
Sell then, you scream - and I have no argument with that. I’m as weak as ... well, this deal.
