Don't mean to be a wet blanket but go look at just about any bio that has results in a trial coming up and you are likely to find exactly the same hyperbole in describing upcoming results. Has nothing to do with actual chance of positive results and people shouldn't read anything into 'looking forward to' and 'ground breaking'.

I think there is a high chance of positive results for 2591 in PMS but I also thought the same for trofinetide in Retts and remember that some of the efficacy results for our Ph 2 trial were somewhat ambiguous statistically. There was enough to move to Ph 3 certainly, but it was by no means a lay down misere. Assuming that positive results are 'inevitable' seems a little silly in this context.

Having said all that, I hold a shedload, far more than is sensible from a risk management perspective, and the positive results I am hoping for should bring a life changing amount of wealth to my family, so here is hoping you're right.
