I have long thought that even though the fundamentals of this stock are excellent, it's just not "hot" enough or not enough of a market darling to really break out. For example, have a look at stocks like Afterpay. The model was/is flawed in my view and the SP did not reflect accurate value, it was disproportionately high, reaching $120+ at one point.
I think it was "hot" though, it was always talked about, became part of the vernacular and it was in a hot industry and had plenty of attention, regardless of the fundamentals, and the SP reflected this. It was also a reflection of a stock that was an "overnight success" - relatively speaking.
I get the feeling that no matter the good news, Neuren is not "hot" - it's a slow burn. It has been around for quite a while and just lacks that interest that you get with an overnight success - does not inspire discussion over lunches.
I think it needs something HUGE to break the "feel" associated with the company and stock. Perhaps a successful P2 trial in TBI, Concussion, Parkinsons, Alzheimer's or even weight loss (Prader Willi side effects etc). It needs something to make it "hot" and a discussable stock in a condition that is part of the cultural consciousness, not smaller, rare conditions.
Not to suggest they should not pursue the conditions they are treating or that they are not worthwhile, just simply talking from a SP and investment perspective.
Could be totally wrong, just a gut feel and I think the value from fundamentals won't be realised until such a time as it is "hot"
