Yep, whatever the acquisition is/was …. Doesn’t appear it’s off the table.
With the wording of the announcement, it seems NRZ was dealing with the ASX on matters relating to the acquisition and then voluntarily pulled it, to come out of suspension.
They’ve then simultaneously given an update on discussions with Coal India (which could be massive), with photos showing a pretty decent attendee list, on their behalf …
A bit more than “just a bit of intellectual property” mate.
NRZ’s gasification technology has huge upside potential, with the ability to make many “end products” cheaper (hydrogen/Urea/Energy) etc.
I’m actually somewhat frustrated they didn’t more aggressively pursue OS opportunities, with all the delays/environmental hurdles in Australia.
I guess we’ll know pretty soon just how far these talks have progressed, as well as scale.
