After recently talking to my source at the top (literally I don’t think you could go higher tbh) about sl, I sincerely believe that if Gcy has the quality assets, we will need the right calibre of management to maximise value. Might mean sl will have to sacrifice a bit of ego from his recent find to do what’s best and prudent for the company moving forward.

i pray that sl is humble enough to see if his experience can potentially cap upside here and hope he acts accordingly.

Well, either games are being played, or... any offers GCY received since the plant went in to C&M were not enough to sway SL in regards to what he views as 'true value' for GCY assets. I can only surmise the raising being discussed in this article is the way forward for GCY, which I cannot help but be disappointed about as the timing is quite bad when you look at sector and how badly it is currently performing. Though I know there is very little the GCY could have done in that regard (unless... they held out for better offers early on, but... never got them).
Glad to see the raising is not asking for more than $30m (though of course, its going to be dilutive either way.
