My knowledge of leeches is minimal, but these individuals are akin.
The difference though is with a leech, one can remove it and move away. In contrast, with these EDO-affiliated hinderers, deal with one and fairly soon another one will raise their head above the proverbial parapet.
They are the enemy of miners and support staff who may be well paid, but also have families to feed and water.
Given Australia has among the toughest environmental regulations and legislation worldwide, the claims made can often be spurious, or timewasting. Sadly some leftie judges (always appointed by Labor) may find 'merit' in such legal actions.
