Australia is exporting record volumes of steaming coal, and Vietnam are saying they are now buying from Australia because the price is so cheap
The demand for coal is there, so why are we giving it away - the volumes of coal sold from Newcastle ICI is small and probably from excess production - need to be proactive and say take it or leave it
I feel we must soon be at saturation point and no extra coal will be available and then Vietnam will be forced to pay a lot higher
