Pfizer at over 2000 participants - a very expensive study - decided to stop the study and not recruit any more participants thus avoiding regulators considering it. In the TGA TEMPORARY APPROVAL Jan 2022 both Pfizer and Merck were required to report future studies not seems they both escaped that ruling whilst Australian pharma companies were put through the wringer.
