    Recently China has just distinguished or written off a chunk of Cameroon debts. It looks like that Cameroon government may have no capacity to borrow more in particular related to rail and port which will involve a huge amount of money up to US$4.6 billion. This may be the reason for the hold up.

    So the consortium will now focus on Nabeba-Congo in which SDL has owned the 20-year mining permit.
