I don't think appointing people with whom you have worked in the past is necessarily nepotism. They have a decent track record as a team and I consider Ron as an individual with impeccable character.
Given that the current challenge is the adoption of the product/service, having a team of total strangers will likely add another layer of complexity. This would have been fine for an already established company. I am happy to give this team at least another year to deliver.
