Good morning one and all, oh the joys and frustrations of graphene. But AXE is well up to it. Each foundry and indeed each lab that produces some graphene by vapour deposition or whatever method finds it has a unique characteristic. Not uniform across a lab in Australia, lab in Germany, Netherlands, Spain... AXE is planning on matching different labs to different uses. Well that's certainly one way to maximise all potential uses. Might also have to tweak the design of each lab's biochip, not just the gFETs in the chip. Different versions of the graphene can have different sensitivities and transduction.

The overall plan is to have devices that offer multiplex assays, multiplex PCRs in real time. ...and hopefully an affordable, portable device version as well, although I'm thinking that this ability to run many reactions on a single sample while in an affordable device for use in underdeveloped countries is getting way ahead of ourselves. First things first, categorize the graphene in each lab, whack it in differently designed chips, all with multi-channels coz the demand is for multiplex assays. They will, from now on, meet the ISO 13485 requirements for medical devices at a minimum.
