Good to see PG bringing in a fresh pair of eyes. A positive step forward. Presumably the Chairman was involved as well and gave his approval.
The placement price is pretty much in line with where we are right now. Was never going to be higher and could have been lower. More importantly, not only has he accepted the position, he's also had a good look at the company's prospects, likes what he's seen and invested accordingly. It's a decent chunk of wedge to throw at a company you're fairly new to. That speaks to confidence, not just in Harvest but also in his ability to help grow the business, and his investment with it. As Chairman of Grabba, he looks to have the requisite experience to get the job done. Interesting contacts in UAE. I see synergies.
Now would be a good time for PG to drop a quarterly trading update with some more meat on the bone.
