Interesting times... one question in my mind is at what stage will the company sell the buddy hardware business. Four potential suiters, Leviton, Itron, EKM and Wattwatchers.

The release itself is pitching the ohm as the appliance of choice for display, and perhaps as an automatic billing device (for carbon credits at this point). Automation looks to be on the backburner ie with third parties.

The biggie is...the use of the device as a sanctioned meter device for billing in the various markets world wide (electricity and gas). The device must meet the various metrology specifications to be a real winner... ie meter, display and communicator....to my mind they are up there with the best of breed in the display and communication stakes. I know there was talk of certification in this regard. I cant remember the context. It would be a great question for anyone attending on the 27th.
