Mmm, how much are we paying Spoke Corporate Media Relations? I'd be asking for a refund based upon the 'Sets Sites' heading in this announcement. I mean really guys, very ordinary indeed.
After re-reading the announcement, am I the only one that is somewhat non-plussed with the announcement? Don't get me wrong, I know it's his first announcement and I'm happy to give the new guy some leeway but hasn't the business always been "focused on commercialisation" for years? If not, then we've been lied to by management. Now we are looking to take on some new salesman to try to generate commercial sales after "completing significant research". Completing? From what I have read in the announcements, barring a few uses, research is continuing in most areas we are looking to generate sales. Furthermore, how long will this recruitment process take and how long after that before the salesman can get across the technology and generate sales? Meanwhile more wages to pay.
I have said it before and I'll say it again, FGR need to get a wriggle-on regarding commercial sales. They also need to get these options converted to bring in some much needed funds for the company. Let's be frank, the SP will need to appreciate for that to occur. The company needs the buffer that the option revenue brings in. It's that simple. We've got the graphene sitting there in the factory. It would be nice to see some of it heading out the door to 'customers'.
Finally, nothing was mentioned in the announcement about any imminent sales, which is quite disappointing from my perspective. We continue to wait for more news. Maybe it's not far off. I can only dream.
Before some start sh@tcanning me, I'm more than happy with the SP rise from mid teens to 30c. I hold plenty so it's very welcome indeed. We just need information from management regarding potential and/or upcoming sales. Keep the faithful shareholders engaged management or people will walk. Nothing's surer.
Anyway, let's see if old mate can hit the ground running and get this business moving.
