Agree, It's a win, win relationship. CSS gets access to new markets & Hofseth get access to a new high quality product to supplement their offerings.
CSS have a clear marketing strategy of a high quality, premium product not a commodity, mass distribution product such as Atlantic Salmon. Any price reduction is purely to gain market share not a long term solution to get volumes up. CSS have consistently been able to increase price & margins through unit price increases & reduction of production costs.
COVID-19 aside CSS were on course to achieve their 2025 strategy before the announcement yesterday, with it they would have achieved it earlier.
