How is this not going to be profitable when they are selling product that has already been written down in last years accounts? It has been clearly stated that they are using the written down inventory to gain entry into the market as they did previously in Europe, after which they successfully increased prices.
CSS has always been about increasing scale which in turn reduces production costs, if they can sell 250 tonnes a quarter / 1,000 tonnes a year into the US that is a big step up on approx 3,000 tonnes p.a..
