Personally l was certain Jansen would play a strong hand in the commercialisation roll out as they have a vested interest in selling expensive kidney drugs. It was Jansen who asked PIQ to participate in their Clinical Trial way back when (it seems so long ago). Maybe they have decided they can convince Doctors and insurance companies of the veracity of the SGL T2 inhibitors without PIQ. Maybe they are waiting on the Medicare rebate code to be granted, quite a mystery.
l remember one of the larger holders here selling out about 12 months ago because he was worried the PIQ Board had limited marketing skills. He also said he would probably buy back in if and when he saw all the blocks falling into place. Cannot remember who it was, but no matter.
Well this has to be a good development for sure. Its taken 20 years to get to this point. l most certainly hope its not going to take another 10 years to become the bench mark test. We can only hope word travels around the medical community fast and this roll out gets traction quickly. All those conference presentations and sales are non existent. I hope the marketing people work their little tails off and we see good sales up take this side of Christmas.
