Nothing to do with patient care, I fully support the use of BIS as I'm sure you do, and I firmly believe BIS is better than the alternative. No argument from me there.
However as an investor who owns IPD due to the potential to establish a monopoly in short order, this article does nothing to enhance that prospect, and in fact it harms it. Your post suggested that the only reason a hospital may want this tech is to avoid being sued, and that is what made it compelling as an investment, which is what I commented upon.
