This is not correct - the new ruling coalition has 24 out of 31 seats in parliament and can therefore pass whatever regulations they agree without requiring Atassut and Demokraterne. The coalition agreement is strongly supportive of the resources sector.
My guess is that the new coalition will agree to mining uranium as a by-product with an upper limit to concentration which will allow Kvanefjeld to go ahead. Remember that IA was the party in government when this project started.
