Yesterday something went wrong. The reaction in NY started only after 4 p.m. and then, the volume was 2 times the vol. during normal hours.
IMO this news was the most valuable ATH has ever done. The evidence is clear, safe PBT2 kills antibiotic-resistant bacteria, phase 3 will be easy, infections in animals are not so different from those in humans. Huge market, easily some 10M patients / y in the world. IMO it should be quite easy to find a company to do the needed phase 3 and start selling PBT2 worldwide.
Does PBT2 have any harmful effect on coronavirus is still an open issue. The spike protein of it may be sensitive to an iron chelator but this is a very speculative issue, which may not be true. ATH434 could work better as it is mainly an iron chelator.
