Australian gold company Cortona Resources Limited (ASX: CRC) is delighted
to announce the appointment of Mr Mark Milazzo as Non-Executive Director to
the Company?s Board, and Mr Lorne Harvey as CFO.
Mr Milazzo is a mining engineer with 30 years? experience in the development
and management of underground and surface mines across a range of
mineral commodities. Past appointments include senior operational roles with
WMC Resources and more recently with mining contractor HWE Mining where
he managed a portfolio of surface and underground mining operations.
Cortona also welcomes Mr Lorne Harvey to the position of CFO. Mr Harvey
has over 15 years? finance and commercial experience in various listed mining
companies, most recently with Mineral Resources Limited. From 2001 to
2007 he served in senior finance management roles for Barrick
Australia/Africa. Mr Harvey is a Chartered Accountant, Member of the
Chartered Secretaries Australia and a Fellow of the Financial Services
Institute of Australasia.
Mr Milazzo and Mr Harvey will significantly strengthen Cortona?s team as the
Company transitions from gold explorer to gold producer over the coming
months.
