Bimbowrie doesn't look to have been a show-stopper for other companies who have pegged in the area (and admittedly done nothing with), checking SARIG it seems like TAR has picked up all vacant ground not already covered by HAV and a few other private companies looking for Iron and uranium. The area is prospective for gold and many base metals, as well as uranium and Magnetite.

The entire area is underexplored, and although tightly pegged, no one seems to have made any serious exploration efforts there since the 1990s, HAV have been hamstrung for cash for years and very little actual drilling has been done in the area from Manna Hill to the SA/NSW border. I would say this is a case of TAR getting tenements to work on that are not affected by the ongoing legal action that will tie up ATLA for possibly years to come.

I would see the Barrier Highway as being useful, rather than an impediment, statistically, it's very unlikely that an orebody would be located exactly right underneath the highway given the huge expanse of the area and the modest amount of space that the rail and highway corridors take up.
