I wonder if that is a problem with these type of deals in that the client gets to see undef th e hood without actually licen sing anything. Surely at least some knowledge must slip across the barrier and allow them to develop their own technology in competition to pyc. It would be interesting to know how they collaborate and show what they can do without actually giving away how they screen cells or achieve endosomal escape. When it tskes this long still to comit to a license you have to wonder if they are just trying to work out how to copy the tech. The financial reward would be enormous if they can fo itvthemselves without licensing and the longer they look the more chance they work it out and we are left with nothing?
