It is obviously a long process to test and clinically trial. The reason i am so keen that they progress the fpp platform is it seems tast has already been researched to some degree and not sure if it is currently in clinical use but surely fpp aa a single platform would be a faster path than fpp with imyc. Surely that is twice the research abd validation as we woujld bave to show the safety of fpp and the imyc inhibitor almost as seperate items. If we can verify fpp and possibly get it producing some income in some way then surely that takes is a long way down the path of imyc inhibition also as we are proving the safety of the "tractor" for imyc as well as other cargoes. FPP seems like such a promising commercial field short term while imyc is still so obviously a long way off.
Hopefully it is the fpp that is keeping genentech interested even with their anti microbial research- maybe we areallowi g them to "penetrate" cells they never thought possible befo re, and like our ex Janssen director maybe the light will flick on and they will see other possible applications within their own portfolio.
Im sure its been covered but is TAT actually in use in any commercially available product or is it just a research item.
