Mr. Thomas L. Mitchell, also known as Tom, CPA, served as the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President at Devon Energy Corporation since joining on February 17, 2014 to April 19, 2017.

Mr. Mitchell has over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He served as the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Midstates Petroleum Company, Inc. from October 2011 to January 6, 2014 and also served as its Chief Accounting Officer. He served as an Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Midstates Petroleum Company LLC. He served as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer and Controller of Noble Corporation from November 6, 2006 to September 6, 2011 and also served as its Principal Accounting Officer until September 6, 2011. He served as a Controller of Apache Corp., a Managing Partner for Apache Offshore Investment Partnership from February 1996 to October 2006 and also served as its Vice President from July 1997 to October, 2006. He served as Chief Accounting Officer of Apache Corp., a Managing Partner for Apache Offshore Investment Partnership from February 1996 to 1997. He joined Apache Corp. in 1989 as a Manager in the finance organization. He also served various positions including Director of Natural Gas Marketing in Apache Corp.'s natural gas marketing operation from 1990 to 1995 and served as its Accounting Manager of Gulf Coast operations from 1989 to 1990.

Prior to joining Apache, he served as Manager of Arthur Andersen & Co., from 1982 to 1988. He has been an Independent Director of Hines Global REIT, Inc. since June 2009.
