I bought a few weeks back at 1.6c and it dropped to 0.9c I was torn between doubling down and completely selling and I ended up holding. There had not been a lot of optimism surrounding these batteries nor with management, the IP this company has however seem very cool. I had been looking at the paint and lab applications of their products.
I'm new to buying and selling shares myself and something that I find very useful is the market depth. It can often be misleading but look at buyer and seller depth to pick the high and low point of a stock and to gauge the interest.
I sold out at the second peak at 2.8c as I was distracted around open. I bought back my initial holding however at the day's end at 2.1 cents.
I expected it would go up in the morning as more heard the good news and heard about the meteoric rise but I expected it to go down by the afternoon as people wanted to take the profit of 240% for some. It was in a way hard for me not to sell this stock at a lower price as I saw it rise as it had been the worst in my protfolio and looking at it made me feel Ill. I imagine a lot felt the same and sold out in a panic today as it started to drop from 3c potentially reclaiming their original buy in price after realising it had gone up.
That said I bought back in. A lot of shares have traded hands today and yesterday. I'm hoping that most traders sold today and everyone who wanted to sell sold. I however would be kicking myself if I missed this and it became really big. To me advances in lithium batteries is huge and revolutionary comparable to the development of first steam engines and I didn't even expect it to be a goer before the announcment.
If it goes down tomorrow it won't be by much imo. I think it probably will but I have the FOMO.
I expect it to be above this price by the end of next week. I'm also holding as I am interested in the AGM on the 16th of November.
I'll hold this long term until some down ramper on this site spooks me into selling
I reckon there could be a lot of people are praying this price drops a bit more for them to buy in too.
