At the moment KGL are far from production and the primary obstacle is capital. Even if the Board feels it has a viable project, they have to convince equity investors and debt financiers to invest. Just to keep the maths simple - if they need $250-million @ 50% debt to equity they have to raise equity @ the current share price of say 14 cents. That is almost 900 million shares to be issued. That is double the 454 million shares currently in issue. So to prevent yourself being diluted, you would have to chip in another 200% of your current holding.

Please overlook my ignorance but if one approaches a bank with a "bankable feasibility study" why would they not loan money? Red 5 a goldminer appears to have done this to build its King of the Hills mine recently. After all our management are of great repute?
