Totally agree that the sweet spot still needs to be found, but RE old drill holes - a lot of low grade BUT all in footwall alteration (typical in VMS/Cobar style). Follow the boundary between mag signatures and I think things could get very interesting IMO. Drilling has just proved this zone is mineralised & there is no other drilling into it - still kilometres of unexplored strike(!).
I also don’t think it’s been mentioned how shallow these intercepts are compared to other explorers in Cobar with similar results. Chance a giant is lurking with relatively thin cover. Game on.
