Well it was a surprise to see the SP reacted this morning. I thought retailers would never buy into this announcement because:
- They do not understand that this is a low grade bulk tonnage system. Grade of below 1g/t would look uneconomical to them.
- They do not understand that Ternera East is right next to Ternera, our primary highgrade pit that mineralized from surface to 400m depth. We just need to extend the wall of the pit easternly to form a superpit with this new discovery. Very economically indeed.
- They do not understand that Ternera East is twice the size of Ternera, with proven surface trenching and IP mapping.
- They do not understand that TSO might be the only gold explorer on the ASX that had the courage to put a stepout hole that is 500m away, and still found gold right with the first hole. There are plenty of other goldies with similar or higher market cap than TSO that put 10-20 plus stepout holes only 30m-50m from their "comfort zone" and barely manage to find something significant.
- Im pretty sure those who bought today are instos and pros not retails. Broker's report has been showing for the past 3 months retails were net sellers and pros have been accumulating. In the recent interview Zeff has also stated that a few instos are watching but not yet buying. May be they decided to jump in today.
