The reason nobody is buying MNM is obvious - they have large upcoming expenditure to both secure their key project (!) and get it up and running. They have stuff all cash in the bank. Conclusion? Dilution, dilution and more dilution.
With that many shares on issue, even if a project is successful the effect on the SP will be minimal. Anybody who has an average buy price over 5c is unlikely to ever see that again, and even 5c will be many, many years away. Of course, I suspect any CR will have to be an issue to sophisticated investors at silly prices (what holder would chip in more hard-earned to this train wreck??), which they will promptly offload on market for a small profit and drag the SP down further.
