Watso, quite right re the RC drilling in this case . I was describing Diamond core drilling.. my bad. but ok what is coming to surface in this case are rock chips (not core), which are bagged and identified by depth. Each bag represents between 1 and 2 metres depth . RC drilling significantly cheaper and faster than diamond core drilling but what you dont get is info regarding the orientation of the strata or veins. Holes may take just a day depending on depth and hardness.
compared to diamond drilling RC saves time in drilling. Assaying is still the major time consumer but turnaround could be quicker. Maybe 4-5 weeks to first results.
