At some point you have to wonder if the addition of programs for such a (relatively) small pharma company may have another purpose.
The cost of executing the clinical trials across multiple programs is prohibitive and would require partnering. While the platform is being validated with each of these announcements ( a very good thing), it is starting to feel a tad like fattening the calf, ready for sale. Which I have no problem with BTW. The prospect of PYC being on the market would lend another plausible reason for the departure of Doug also. Speculation.
