If PIQ can independently confirm performance and clinical utility of this blood test, then they could quickly, painlessly and accurately diagnose 90% of those 190m women and girls. Early screening via this blood test could help millions avoid a painful, invasive laparoscopy and commence treatment earlier, avoiding an average of 7.5 painful years searching for a diagnosis.
