Ok Kickst@rter, let's imagine you're a NOX Director (even though you don't hold and you recommend Sell, let's just see if we can stretch our imagination muscles a bit today).

Scenario 1
You're incompetent, or you have a falling out with the Board. The company issues an announcement saying that 'Kickst@rter is leaving to pursue other opportunities.'

Scenario 2
You serve three years as a Director. Someone elsewhere offers you a lucrative role, which requires your full-time endeavours. You resign, and the company issues an announcement saying that 'Kickst@rter is leaving to pursue other opportunities. We thank him for his valuable contribution to the development of the company'

Scenario 3
Your son attempts suicide; or your marriage is in trouble; or your spouse is diagnosed with glioblastoma and given nine months to live. You resign, and the company issues an announcement saying that 'Kickst@rter is leaving for family reasons', without giving further details.

Would you:
a) thank them for respecting your privacy
b) complain about the lack of detail?

By all means have a chip at the company regarding the circumstances of Greg's departure, but criticising them for a lack of detail about a departure for 'family reasons' makes you look like a pork chop.
