Exactly you have hit the nail on the head. Raiz has so much potential but is let down by a lackluster app and user interface. If you are going to hike up fees then you should increase the quality of your product to match it. Raiz is a wonderful thing when it comes to money-management and micro investing. But they are held back by poor customer retention and their revenue model is pretty one directional in my opinion. Raiz needs to expand to more than just a microinvesting platform, for example Raiz could create a digital wallet that actively tracks your bills and expenses and automates your budgeting by paying your bills on time and allocating funds for savings and allocating funds for shopping and eating out let’s say. That way Raiz is more than a microinvesting application.. it becomes a smart financial management tool that automates budgeting so that you can spend without the hassle of worrying about saving. By having a digital wallet feature.. raiz can multiply its revenue stream instantly by charging merchant fees to the financial institutions..like a telco service provider..similar to Apple Pay or google pay. Raiz is already good at managing funds and microinvesting... so why not expand as a digital wallet and smart financial app. Then atleast users get more value for the fees... Raiz gets much better customer retention as well as capitalising on a whole new revenue stream from the digital wallet.
