Point 2 - I concur with your assessment and couldn't have put it any better. It doesn't say that you had to purchase your shares PRIOR to 4/11/2013, but rather that you had to purchase them AFTER 01/01/2013.
Point 1 - Not sure about this. It could be argued that if there had been full disclosure your entry/purchase price would have been much less (albeit that you sold for a profit). Did the price drop as a result of the company announcement/s and the profit achieved then reduce from what was anticipated/likely prior to that announcement/s? Best if left to IMF to review - I would still register.
