The requirements of obtaining a Mining Licence in Victoria have become more complicated, and to apply for a MIN requires the applicant to display that a Mineral Reserve is within the application area of the Mining Licence
That certainly applies to an open pit mine but not necessarily to an underground mine covered by an EL. Mining Licences have certainly become more complicated to apply for in Victoria and that is why NAG's mining licence will become a great asset for the company in the future
