The focus at Quicksilver is on a simple mechanical, low-energy processing flowsheet - little more than scrubbing, screening, grinding, magnetic separation. Perhaps drying.
That looks good for the primary saleable products, the Magnetite (Fe-Ni-Cr) and Nickel (Ni-Co) concentrates and Industrial Aggregates.
Low CapEx, low OpEx on a large shallow resource..
If the REE's conform too, and can be liberated to a concentrate of their own, say, by similar simple mechanical means, then well and good. Certainly worth checking the potential.
Otherwise, I doubt the KISS principle will be compromised.
Cheap and simple to mine; cheap and simple to process.
