The article hits all the big picture points most of you reading this are already well familiar with too.Antimony is a critical metal, and in many cases, there’s no substitute. China and Russia control the majority of supply. New mines are being developed, but meaningful relief is still years away.But here’s what I think they missed. Antimony prices have continued to climb, but they also haven’t dipped at all. This isn’t a hyped up story either. Industries are already feeling the impact of antimony shortages, with supply chain disruptions causing real problems. But the most important takeaway for me is that mainstream attention is growing, and that could be what finally drives the investor interest needed to solve the supply side altogether.
