Europe hitting double figure inflation.... it will be the same in the US soon if not now.
Interest rate are going have to go higher to slow down inflation possibly higher enough to match the inflation rate.... it's happened before
And the stock & housing markets are going to suffer.
The Fed can't save both the Bond market (debt market) & Stock market.
The bond market has won that contest many time in the past & I can't see this time being any. different..
The over night repo market is causing the Fed major issues with paying massive interest there paying out.
Swiss central bank announced a lose of $127 billion lose in 12 months RBA $36 billion Bank of England & European Central Bank struggling.
The cracks are getting wider & more visible at the highest level
Printing money (quantitative, easing ) to cover it over is out of the question.... can't fight inflation with more inflation..
So don't be fool about any talk about the Fed pivoting...
Things are going to get a whole lot worse before getting better so I wouldn't hold your breath for any positive economic news regarding interest rates being reversed......
Gold will have its day soon enough but not while interest rate are rising....
hyperinflation or economic collapse will be catalyst for gold& Silver....the whole financial system is sitting on the knife edge of both..... It's one or the other
We are looking down the Barrel of 2 extremely dangerous economic meltdowns..... unfortunately fixing both is impossible....... hang on people's it's going to be a rough couple of years..... but fantastic for physical Gold & Silver.
