yes copper seems a little odd in terms of price and supply/demand relationships. Copper stockpiles still are in decline so you would think uptake would be there.
However I think the low trading is more a relationship with macroeconomics and the cost of capital funding. This company although sitting on significant resources will need a large amount capital to get it out of the ground and this has significantly increased in cost of capital acquisition. hence the lowering of stock pricing and lack of interest in higher risk stocks (stocks requiring capital to keep operational or to earn). I also think many are sitting on cash waiting for a turn in the tide before jumping in.
