What you’ve drawn doesn’t make sense in this case @Helios11. They didn’t drill down dip of the pegmatite. They can calculate the orientation of the spodumene bearing pegmatite not only from the drill angle and angle of the pegmatite intersection, but then also the modeling in geologic software (in this case leapfrog). I see why you’ve drawn the red line interpretation and stacked pegmatites, but doesn’t make sense in this case. They can already calculate the pegmatite orientation from the current intercepts. Hence how they drew that cross section.
Any junior would kill to drill a full one meter crystal of spodumene. If you only drilled meter sized crystals consistently, you don’t even need DMS. That’s direct ship ore of SC6 grade. Are you saying PMET purposely targeted and drilled huge spodumene crystals at 100 m depth with 80 mm diameter drills, to fluff Li2O grades?
