Malabar is an interesting project but it is thermal coal and any new underground mine takes time to reach full production - experienced miners are hard to find - if they are after underground assets there is the S32 mines in the South Coast - coking coal with access to an under utilised Port Kembla and experienced workforce - Malabar has to many unknowns at the moment to outlay any more money
