Correct, Malabar is still privately owned and will be until production. Don't expect a take over before first coal. The same players are the ones responsible for setting up Whitehavens Narrabri coal.
I heard rumours cash flow was needed with the cost of materials changing substantially between feasibility and execution.
$1.80 a share is still a great price and expect 5-6MT pa production once they are up and running and bugs ironed out
