Yeah, i'm not really interested in dramatising things here. Just wanted some analysis of the stock. I've heard all doomsday stuff before. Yeah it's different this time though right??
With change comes opportunity. In any economic scenario there's money to be made. Yep, oils dead at the moment but there's a rational explanation for that (overproduction, massive drop in demand etc). What that means in relation to NHC is that their diesel costs have dropped dramatically. I don't know what cost per tonnes diesel is for NHC but i reckont its meaningful.
Will demand in coal drop. Yeah i reckon so, there's some supply uncertainty though to counteract this. I reckon US$60 is the normal for the next 6 months. But with the Aus at 62c US and oil cheap as chips NHC retains solid margins.
