    Having an array of sensors and averaging the result at the software level is an approach that has been seen in the research fraternity as a viable way to overcome graphene imperfections. It certainly to my mind is the best way to overcome delays in trying to achieve some kind of graphene quality control across foundries. It's a problem solving path forward that has to be tried. This R&D is going exhaustively through all the ways to overcome road blocks that have hindered gFETs from being used reliably in bio sensing. Along the way AXE might even hit upon an easier, cheaper way. Which is where some of the value add can happen.

    Successfully integrating the sensors into a read out integrated circuit will be a milestone.

    This design in addition to compensating for individual gFET mismatches allows a whole array of bio signals to be recorded and combined into one. Less individual sensor to electronic connections. Less power, less cost to manufacture.
