I know you are rather cautious.
All the changes we have seen in the last couple of years were executed under the watch of the patriarch.....He is not that old fashioned.
What more proven track record do we need?
# Grew precision engineering from 5 to 40% of the whole business.
# Acquired 3 late stage/near commercialization outfits.
# Won the grant for the Iptech out of 10 competing names....I guess that gives Zicom some credibility.
The risk Zicom is taking with its transformation is largely mitigated by their prudence in selecting their new ventures.
1) Late stage....rather than just a clever idea.
2) Devices (rather than drug development) with quicker route to market.
I believe that ZGL will become a fairly large player in a very lucrative niche with the add bonus of having the capability of manufacturing all products in house....A vertically integrated powerhouse.
One of my safest & ultimately very rewarding investments.
