some of my friends who I very much respect don't like the idea - particularly the timing -
but, I am ok with the idea
I don't think it does any harm to get a glimpse of what is happening - and a glimps of the people who are working for us.
As long as there isn't any BS ------------ that's the key really.
No predictions -- no hints at future revenue --------- which can so easily be seen as promises
just a look at where things are, what directions we are heading, perhaps some philosophy on why we are heading where we are heading etc --
I can't really see a problem if that brings confidence.
The numbers will tell us how the business is going - but, they won't tell us why it is going -
only humans can tell us that - and, if we get a relationship with some of them and find we can trust that - then??????????
The point is that not all of us have access to seeing the team - only the few who can go for meetings.
Personally, atm - I think we all know what the fy report should say - those of us who have been following - but, it will look good put together ---
however, numbers or not - it's clear that some people are nervous - so, how better do you do it than front up with your front line people?
