I agree with your back of your back of the envelope analysis and it's pretty close to my own for 'conservative best case scenario' but I doubt one successful well would be enough to convince the market to give it that much of the valuation immediately. There are too many risks going forward, and there are also probably too many people wanting an opportunity to exit. I'd guess with one successful well we might get a market cap of about $10-15 million at best, and with another one or two consecutive successes with everything going well, maybe up towards $25-30 million.
Among other things, I think a failed first well will leave the market cautious. Still, weighing up the chances of a 3-5 bagger against failure seems like an attractive proposition to me. I think they have the means and experience to have a good chance of getting it right.
