At the end of the day, you channeling the famous Mike Williamson line of "I tipped this" is offering none other than cold comfort to many long-term holders who are probably right now being talked down off the ledge and now is certainly not the time to be either talking up the stock nor engaging in schadenfreude. Nevertheless, it would appear that you have some sort of vendetta against those who dismissed your negative views on AVZ and you are certainly leveraging off this opportunity, at the same time portraying yourself as the champion of the mum and dads investors who have (on the face of it) been sold a lemon.

While I invested in AVZ, I only dipped my toe in the water as I knew that investing in a country that is plagued by corruption and at the mercy of the Chinese and their debt trap diplomacy objectives would be risky. Others, including my good friend, have more tolerance for risk and have gone in full bore. Telling him that it looks like he and many others have got that horribly wrong and then rubbing their noses in it is probably the last thing that they want to hear right now.
